Favorite Pregnancy Dresses

Raise your hands if you're a member of the lock down pregnancy gang! 🙋🏻‍♀️

I just gave birth almost a month ago (end of March 2021) and randomly wanted to update this blog for updates. 😋 This is for baby no. 2 by the way and we have a girl this time around. 😍 Anyway, I just wanted to share some photos before giving birth.

One thing I missed about getting pregnant is wearing dresses on a daily basis. 💖

Most of my maternity dresses usually come from ASOS but one of my best discoveries during this pandemic is the Shopee online store called Zanzea. They have a different and wide array of dresses to choose from and most of them I used during this pregnancy. What I liked about the dresses is that they aren't expensive and have sizes to choose from for big girls like me.

Here's another dress that I liked from ASOS. Basically the tip is to lookout for dresses that have loose fit so you'll still be able to wear them even after giving birth.

I'd like to blog more about this pregnancy but I can hear my baby girl almost waking up from her afternoon nap. Hopefully I can update again soon! Cheers!

Plus-Size Active Wear in the Philippines

Wearing head-to-toe Adidas for Day 55 of #PapayatKaNaMaye

To my fellow Chubby Chic's out there, where in the Philippines can I find a local but good quality high-waist workout leggings? I've always been a fan of local brand Sassa, you can only see them in selected department stores like Landmark or Metro Market! Market! so it's a good thing some of their items are now available through Zalora.

Papayat Ka Na, Maye!

It all started with this little black dress.

I remember asking my husband few months ago when their company Christmas party will be held and was their a theme. So as usual, I browsed in my favorite online shopping site ASOS to check out some dresses that are available for plus size women like me.

Facing the Scale

As of September 17, 2019, I'm officially at my heaviest weight.

I'm sorry for my shameless feet photo but I gotta do what I gotta do. This is just so sad, I enjoyed food way to much and now I can categorically call myself an obese mom. Yikes!

I have been carelessly eating in order to produce more milk for my breastfed child. He is almost 1 year and 9 months and I'm still directly breastfeeding him. You see, he's quite a picky eater and prefers junk food, just like how I was when I was younger.

Since I'm trying to slowly but surely get back to having that heavy lifestyle, I have to face that reality of seeing photos of myself. Here are some of my latest pics which I honestly couldn't fathom to see. LOL

This is the last photo of me that I can find on my phone. This was taken last July 2019 when we went on an educational trip to the Manila Ocean Park. Nakakaloka, lakas ng loob mag stripes. Lalo tuloy nagmukhang malaki!

I am tired of feeling heavy that's why I decided to jump start this blog. I'm hopeful that by regularly posting, I'll get to my safe weight in the coming months.

Obesity is a dying "weigh" of life.

History of Chubby Chic

Say hello to my chubby chic self back in 2008. Yes, this was taken for our graduation book.

For the past weeks, I have been trying to remember the username for my old YouTube Channel. Mainly because I want to revive this website. Yes, I used to own ChubbyChic.net but failed to update just because life happened after college.

ChubbyChic.net basically was my thesis wherein I'll be updating my online diary and posting updates about my weight loss journey. Heck, I even uploaded videos on YouTube:

Imagine if I continued documenting my fitness journey? I'll probably be one of those pioneer Youtubers. And yes, I'll probably be rich by now. Haha. Just kidding.

This was taken in Zaanse Schans near Amsterdam last May 2019. If I'm not mistaken I weighed around 180 lbs here.

Fast forward to 2019, I am married and currently a stay-at-home mother to my son, Uno. I am feeling bigger again these days and I was thinking that maybe it's time to start all over again. So watch out for this space and I look forward to meeting Chubby Chic 2.0 before the year ends.

When you feel like quitting, think about why you started.
